I got sent this cool top from the lovely people over at Vanilla Underground. It’s a really comfy vest that is quite fitting for the fast approaching festival season. A band slogan tee is one that never dates and you can pair it with almost anything. If you’re going to a festival and want to wear something comfy then a top liked this teamed with denim shorts layered jewellery and an absolute must……your wellies.
As much as I love to get dolled up and going out, I really love a casual day too. I was off to visit my friend to meet her new little baby and have a cuppa/ catch up with the girls. I also had to pop into town after so I went for a simple comfy outfit to run around in.

Besides today being beautiful weather the end of last week was a bit more drab than fab! So I needed a splash of colour for a little pick me up. I a chunky grey knit as much as the next girl but every now and again I think a pop of bright colour is good. I haven’t really been much of a pink person until recently but I saw this jumper on a few people and had to have it.
On a sunny day I am one of those typical Brits that gets super excited at the first sign of sun and out come all the summer clothes. I was off out for lunch with my sisters and was feeling in a summery mood so decided to just go for it and wear a dress. You will have to excuse the lack of tan but at this time of year not much I can do, roll on holidays! The weather has taken a turn for the worse today but hopefully it isn’t the last we see of the sun and can start transitioning into our summer wardrobe and put our winter coats to rest for a good few months.

I can’t seem to stop wearing hats at the moment, they are great when you are in a rush and don’t have time to tame your mane. The wind lately is also a killer for your hair do so a hat hides the ratty mess that the weather can sometimes cause. This whole look is super simple and comfortable, I do like to wear lots of colour and clash prints in the summer but in the winter and inbetween months I quite like a simple pallete of colours to wear. Also I think with white jeans they are quite bold on their own and stand out a lot more than regular jeans so I think lots going on can look a bit too much. I love these slouchy t-shirts from ASOS, they are quite possibly the most comfortable tops I own. ASOS seriously do the best basics around and always at very good prices with no compromise to the quality.

You can’t see the real beauty of this top as it was a tad chilly on this day so I had to wear a jacket with it, but the back is split open with a small strip connecting the very top together, I picked it up whilst I was in America as it’s a really cute summer staple to have and team with denim shorts or tucked into a skater skirt. You can also wear it with skinny rip knee jeans and heels for a friday night at the pub kind of look.

I have been looking for the perfect white sleevless blazer for such a long time since I saw the Fashion Editor of Company Magazine rocking one ages ago and how good it looked. I haven’t seen many around since then and there was always a small detail that I didn’t quite like. Then Missguided came to my rescue and produced this little gem. It’s a nice crisp white and has two pockets, I will be wearing this with all sorts when summer eventually decides to show its face. The next little beaut I was excited to show you was this pink glittery Skinnydip clutch. Skinnydip are the company responsible for the most beautiful phone covers adorned with chunky gems and sassy statements. I got this one via ASOS, they are sold in a number of places now. It is a good statement piece to have when your outfit is quite monochrome or consists of muted tones.
I picked up this cute embroidered tee a little while back as I thought it would be really nice for summer with floaty skirts and ankle boots or denim ‘mom’ shorts and sandals for a more laid back look. I love navy and with a tan it looks lovely, which I don’t have at the moment of course but hopefully the weather perks up a bit and I can get a golden glow on the go.
Yesterday was a good day for many reasons. It was Friday, it’s a bank holiday weekend and it was also paaaay daaaaay…..That can only mean one thing surely?! SHOPPING! I have picked out a few of my favourites at the moment, I actually have the glasses now and they are my new fave pair by far. I do still love my Clubmasters dearly closely followed by my Wayfarers and Aviators but this cool new round shape is exactly what I was looking for. I got mine as a little treat in America recently and I now want the black or tortoise shell plastic ones, they are next on my hit list.
If you follow me on Instagram then you will have seen my beeeeautiful new shoes from ASOS, the best bit is that they come in half sizes (hallelujah!). I now want this gorgeous gold pair, I had better snap them up as I can see these selling out fast. The New Look flats are amazing too, I am definitely going to be adding these to my ever growing collection of black point loafers. I wore the Miss Selfridge leather for my collab with Debenhams and it was so soft and comfortable and such a bargain price too.
Transun are currently running a competition in which you can win a trip for 2 to see the Northern Lights, which I must admit is very high up on my own bucket list so it would be beyond awesome to win this competition. In order to win you have to share your top 3 bucket list destinations and why these places have earnt a coveted spot on your list. Trying to whitle it down to just the 3 was a very difficult task indeed, the world is huge and there are so many wonderful places to visit and awe inspiring things to see. Aside from the obvious places like The Great Wall Of China, The Great Barrier Reef and Machu Picchu I have a few other places I would like to tick off before I ‘kick the bucket’ as it were.
