As a girl who has never owned a pair of trainers (bad, I know) I always thought they were more suited to the ‘sporty type’ and didn’t really have a place in my wardrobe. I was so very wrong! I had an amazing opportunity to design my very own pair of Nike trainers at ASOS HQ with the Nike iD team and the lovely guys from Pendleton Woollen Mills. I picked out a pair of Roshe Runs on reccomendation of a friend who likened them to ‘walking on a cloud’ and he was spot on with that one. They are the most comfortable shoes that have ever graced my feet, they are so light, they fit perfectly and when I walk I can definitely notice a spring in my step. I think it has now started a trainer obsession because I’ve already started looking for my next pair.

My agenda for this day was shopping, shopping and more shopping so it was a ‘comfy clothes required’ kind of outfit. I can’t stand when you have to try on loads of stuff and you’re wearing a really fussy outfit, it causes unnecessary hot flushes and fluster in the changing room….which is never a good look is it?

How amazing is this print blazer? I got it so long ago as one of my options for the Company magazine style blogger awards but I went with something different in the end. I decided to keep this jacket as I had already fallen in love with it. There were also matching trousers to make a co-ord but they didn’t have my size and despite endless searching I never managed to get my hands on them. I still want them so I am always checking ebay and depop but so far no luck. The jacket is gorgeous and so perfect when you are wearing jeans and a plain top but want to just chuck something on to make it a bit more dressy. This blazer does exactly that and it’s quite a statement piece so there isn’t much need for many accessories.

Today’s post is a simple look I wore for a night in the pub with a few of the girls. Over the Christmas period I had my hair a lilac tone which shows up slightly in these pics. I loved how different the colour looked in various lighting. Some pictures it came out really pink, others a very subtle lilac and in dark lighting you couldn’t tell at all. A day or so after I took these pictures I added a bit more purple into it and it showed up really well. It’s almost completely washed out now, it was just a temporary wash out vegetable based colour but I loved having it for a while so I will definitely be doing it again sometime. Now onto the outfit…

This fluffy hem dress is one of my favourite buys of 2014. I first spotted it about 6 months ago at the Topshop Autumn/Winter ’14 press day and then the wait began until it hit the stores. As soon as it landed in the new in section online I snapped it up and I am borderline obsessed with it. Fluff was everywhere this season and still is quite prominent on the high street. It gives everything a super girly and almost fairytale twist that is undeniably adorable.

First of all….HAPPY NEW YEAR! I took a bit of a break from blogging over the Christmas period to spend time with my family and I had such an amazing time. My new little niece was adorable as always and made Christmas really fun this year. I hope you all got what you wanted from Santa but most importantly I hope you all had some quality time with family and friends which is personally for me, what Christmas is all about. Now I am not one to set new years resolutions but this year I am kind of making one. Not so much of a resolution as such but more of an aim, which is to blog a lot more often. I want to be doing at least 3 posts a week, which is quite hard when you work full time and have to wear certain stuff to work which isn’t exactly blog worthy. It’s also dark when I get home so weekends are my main blog picture days, which again is hard if you end up having one of those chill in sundays spent in your pj’s or even worse….a horrendous hangover. The last thing you want to do is put make up on and go outside to take pictures but I really want to focus on my blog a lot more this year. I moved back from Greece last year so I made that year all about having fun and making the most of being home. It’s now time for me to put all my effort and energy into this blog and make it the best it can possibly be. I also aim to get my YouTube channel back on track and start making way more videos. They take a lot of time and work to make but I enjoy them and I want to really get back on top of them and everything else blog wise this year. So without further adue, here’s to 2015!

Moving on to my outfit, this yeti coat is so spot on for this bitterly cold weather that keeps creeping up on us. I went shopping so I opted for a casual look as it’s not the most fun thing to try on loads of clothes when you have a fussy outfit on, it was one of those nice sunny but crisp cold days which I love at this time of year. As long as it’s not raining then I am happy, rain is weather that means it’s time to stay indoors, cosy up and watch some films.

I was off to the pub last week with the girls for our little weekly tradition of pub quiz, nachos and a catch up. It’s a nice chilled cosy pub and on this particular night I was freeezing (I pretty much feel like this all of the time, I’m sure it’s not normal to be this cold). I picked up this absolute saviour of a scarf from the purse friendly Primark for a complete steal of only Β£6! It is huge too! When laid out flat it is so big and could very easily double up as a picnic blanket in the Summer, multifunctional is never a bad thing. I currently have said blanket wrapped around me while I write this. I have been tucked up ill in bed for a few days hence the old photos being used for this post. I didn’t want to leave you guys hanging so luckily I had this outfit that I hadn’t posted. You definitely wouldn’t want to have seen my attire for the majority of this week…..It consisted of tartan pj bottoms, a burgundy long sleeve top, a pink polka dot dressing gown, fluffly pink socks and a hot water bottle permanently attached to my front. Being ill sucks but Christmas is almost upon us and that, my friend, does not suck in any way shape or form.
